Breastfeeding my baby from a surrogate
Hello everyone....
I am new mommy to be. Here is our story. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years. We tried IVF,AI, and all the other ways to get there. We had intercourse under the full-moon, danced for a baby, did all the crazy stuff you ever hear about. It never worked out.
Last summer my cousin offered to be a surrogate for us and she is now 5 month pregnant with our baby. You can imagine - we are very excited and ready for this little baby to arrive, but we also have many many questions now.
The main thing right now is that we want to breastfeed and I am getting no support form my OBG. He said he was not aware of all this and really can't answer questions for a situation like this. Nice, huh?
Anyway, I've read so many different things as to how to induce my milk and when to start the entire process. Now I am totally lost and a bit lost. Do I start now and get the milk flowing good before the baby? What herbal aids do I take to induce it? Do I store(freeze) what I pump before the baby comes? Please help.
