I found the sex ed at my school more than enough! We knew more than we probably needed to and kept going over it year after year! (I think I've been mentally scarred by some of the videos!)
Although, just because a school gives good sex ed, doesn't mean people will listen to it! A girl in my class got herself pregnant just after turning 16 and dropped out of school completely. She thought it would make her BF stay with her (and to be honest they were never particularly careful in the first place) - however he called a hiatus - and it all went downhill!
I met her recently and she's living in a flat provided by the council and on benefits.
Granted she's incredibly happy now and her son is gorgeous and very well looked after, it still shows that some people choose to ignore the advice given to them!
I guess the governments and schools honestly can't win in some cases!
