i am so sorry to hear about whats happening. i for one know how you feel i had this problem a few years ago and it was a nightmare it effected us all quite badly. we pay our full rent council tax ect.. but it does not make a difference to the housing where the money comes from as long as they get it.
in the end we involved the police and the person in question was bound over and given a restraining order. it took over two years even with the police and doctors mps law centre and the housing to get the matter to court.
in the end we moved at last and they moved us next to an alcoholic mother of six with a druggie dad. it was a very dark time for myself and my children and husband the music fights ect.. nightmare
i was so mad when i found out they moved us there after all we had been through . and that they were aware that the last six tennents had ended there tenancys because of it.
i then contacted a solicitor about it all i was amazed how fast they moved us
i think they thought we would solve the probem of bad tennents for them by going through it all again.
so my advice stay strong go to the police about the matter it took all the strenth and more that we had but looking back i am so glad we stood up for ourselves and made that stand .
i would not wish it on anybody but there is light at the end of the tunnel . take it from one that knows. keep on and on at the housing remind them that you are still there
good luck xx
