I didn't want kids at all - then I married my ex and I was 29 when I had Alastair and 5 days off my 38th birthday when I had Laura - I would have prefered to have a smaller gap but sometime's things like that can't be helped.

I don't think Laura will lose out becuase I'm over 40 before she's started pre-school - I do alot more than some other mum's of all ages.

but I do beleive older Mums do have to be young in outlook and actions..... I loved paddling in the sea the other week and we had fun building sandcastles!
