haha im also kinda in a diet plan, and it is possible to lose 10lbs for august, my plan is actually to lose 20lbs by the end of august. And yesterday was my 1st end of the month and ive lost 6lbs in total. And im also in the same situation as u cuz im not that overweight just about 6kgs more than my ideal weight shud b and i did hear bout the thing u asked bout, like if ur heavier n bigger than its easier for u to lose a couple of kgs in a few months.
Ok so here is an example of what to eat..
3proper meals per day(breakfast, lunch, dinner and exercize 3-6 times per week.)
For breakfast have a slice of Wheat bread/toast u can add jam or butter or a slice of cheese on it or u can have a bowl of cereal with milk. and for drink have a coffee or a tea or a glass of milk.
Lunch u can have a small bowl of carbs like rise/pasta/non fried noodle etc with a side of
Protein : lean meats like chicken/beaf/lamb/pork(without the fats) like 4-6pieces of the meat.
Vegetable, have like a small bowl of broccoli or flat beans or leafy mustards or spinach or ye know..vegetables.
then theres fruit, if ur already full by eating all that lunch u can have a fruit as a snack in the evening or afternoon before dinner or after dinner.
Dinner time u can have like a low fat spaghetti bolognase or low fat pasta or rice with 1 boiled egg/poached egg or 2 egg whites fried in 1tsp of oil only with vegetables. or a chicken and vegetable congee or like 2 slices of wheat bread with 1 fried egg + 1 slice of LOW FAT ham + veges.
