I've only been in love twice in my life. The first time we were together for a year, then off and on for the next three years, til we both realized it just wasn't there anymore.

This time the girl and I fell in love out of nowhere over the course of a few months, but it was really hard for us to be together because of the living distance between us at the time and some other stuff going on in life. We were unofficially a couple for a few months, but then she realized how much she actually loved me and got terrified. She told me she wasn't ready for that kind of love at this point in her life, that if we were to be together we'd be together for years and she's not ready for a long term relationship. We both decided that it would be too hard for us to remain friends at that point considering how much we loved one another, so we cut each other out of our lives COMPLETELY (this was about two months ago now).

She's been dating a guy for most of that time and I've been with a girl who I more or less am just physically attracted to and don't feel much more beyond that for for most of that time since.

I saw her and her new boyfriend walking down the street today and I was in a really big hurry and on my mobile so I just gave her a quick wave and had to rush off, but I think she expected me to stop and talk from the way she looked after I just waved.

Anyway, seeing her made me realized that I am still completely in love with her, despite not having seen or spoken to her for the better part of two months, and her having started seeing another guy. Is it weird to still be in love with her??
