you don't necessarily have to get rid of everything from your previous relationships. Just don't have pictures or presents from your ex floating around everywhere. Box it all up and keep it in your closet. Those were all once great memories that you shared with a special person so there is no need to get rid of it because of a new boyfriend. just stow it away
