most definately!!! i know of people staying with smokers while they were pregnant and the second hand smoke caused them to have low birthweight babies, asthmatic babies, etc... growing up i knew of a girl born without legs or fingers, i was told that was caused by her mother smoking (a rather extreme example, i'm sure, but something to know about if it's possible....)
