Jeff was born about one month ago. Since the very beginning he has had a problem with gas now. It has gotten worse every day. We took him to the pediatrician and she told us that he is a perfectly healthy baby.
I have tried "pumping" his legs (knees up to the tummy and then pulling them straight again). We also bought Mylicon drops. Nothing helped. He can't seem to get an hour of sleep without occasionally fussing and turing red in the face due to the gas. The last two nights were hell for me. He was fussing and as soon as I thought he might be dosing he would wake like he was startled. I am going crazy here! I wonder if it is my breastmilk and what I am eating. What are some things I can cut out of my diet that could cause gas? Bumbelbee |

I guess the only thing you can do is to go back to the basics. Remove all veggies and dairy products from your own diet and see if the gas problem goes away. Then add one food product and see how it goes. And so on ....
By adding them back one by one and over time, you will be able to eventually eliminate the food that causes your little one to get gas. Covergirl |
