They will just check the shot record, give you info on the shots and then give the baby whatever shots they need. It's a nurse here that gives the shots. Sometimes they will give meds to keep the reaction to shots from causing a fever. Hope this helps!

Sometimes a doctor. Usually a nurse. It's good to get their shots at the health dept. because they have a fresh supply daily. My pediatrician actually told me to go there instead. He said the vaccines may set in the med cabinet longer in his office than at the health dept. And may not be as potent. Go figure.
