I am 10 weeks pregnant and last night I had a nightmare about going to the Doctor and the doctor could not find my baby's heartbeat. Does that mean I'm going to loose my baby. I miscaried my first baby when I was 11 weeks pregnant. I am so worried it's going to happenen again and this nightmare has me even more uneasy.

Relax... everyone has those dreams
Most include the baby being deformed, or dying. Its just your mind playing out your inner fears. Especially when youre in the first 12 weeks. Theres that fear of miscarrige because youre still in the high risk catagory, but in all reality theres nothing to worry about As long as you stay healty, and maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle you have nothing to worry about ![]() |

no i dont believe you will lose your baby. But when i was pregnant i had many bad dreams, of all sorts. you just kinda move past them and try and have a good rest of the night, or a good day. dont take your dreams to the heart, they are not meant to scare you. you hopefully just ate to much or maybe was stressed when you had your dream. soon u will be 11 weeks, than 12 weeks, than 13. i believe when you're over the 12 week hump, your in the safe zone-or safer zonegl and sweet dreams

Very normal. With my first baby I dreamed she had a big deformed hand and the other limb was missing but she is healthy and normal and now 2. I think you are probably just thinking of the last miscarrage seeing it is around the same time in weeks. I would not worry about it. And miscarrage is also very normal. My first pregnancy resulted in a miscarage at 2 months but now I have 2 children that are both healthy.

after a million weird dreams i decided to look it up in my book "what to expect when expecting" this is what i found...i think #2 applies to you.. Keep in mind ive had dreams about all of these things... 1.If you dream of violence against you or your spouse, it means you are afraid that you won’t be able to protect your baby from something. 2.If you dream that your baby is born with abnormalities or there are ailments before birth, it means that you are worried about his or her health. (which is totally normal!! we all worry)3.If you dream about having a certain sex then it means you subconsciously want that sex.4.If you dream you neglect your child, or not being able to do something normal parents can do, it means you are worried about not being a good mother. 5. If you dream of a relative that has passed, it means you are trying to link old generations with new ones.

I have had four healthy pregnancies, and two miscarriages. I have also had literally DOZENS of dreams portraying my fears that something was wrong with the baby. They ranged from the bizarre (giving birth to a ferret!) to really scary, and realistic (bleeding heavily and passing a baby). It's very normal, and you shouldn't worry that it is a premonition. This is a huge ordeal you are experiencing.. it's on your mind all of the time! You are bound to be going over and over things in your head.. and at night our brains take all this info and try to sort it out. It manifests in our dreams. Just take care of yourself.. be healthy, and chances are great that your baby will be too!!!

I have dreams like that too, well I would actually call them nightmares. I have nightmares of me giving birth to a still born or just really weird vivid dreams almost every night. A couple of weeks ago I was complaining because I wasn't getting "dreams" as every other pregnant women was talking about...now I wish I didn't get them! I try not to worry about them so much..although there our nights I wake up crying....but I pray to God my baby is healthy and doing great...I take care of myself....that's all I can do....Good Luck and Congrats!!
