Default Is chamomile herbal tea okay for a woman to drink if breastfeeding a baby?

Is it safe for the tea to be processed into the mother's breastmilk and digested by the baby?

It's better than most of the rubbish we eat and don't think about!

Yes..it's safe. Very little of the chemicals we ingest actually pass to the baby, including those in alcohol (say in one drink). Now, anything to excess can compound and be passed on, but a cup a day should not be a problem. If you are really concerned, simply call your or your child's doctor to allay any fears.

Chamomile tea is safe to take while pregnant and while breastfeeding. It will also help you if you are constipated (breastfeeding moms usually are). You can drink 3 cups a day in between meals if you are constipated or just enjoy a soothing cup to relax. Best of luck to you both!

Chamomile is pretty benign, it shouldn't hurt the baby at all.A heck of a lot safer than other stuff out there!

yes, it is perfectly heathy for both you and your baby. It is especially good for when the baby is teething or has a fever. More information on this is posted on the link below.
