I'm a woman in my early 20's and my husband and I are thinking of having a child. My mother had difficulty concieving me, and the doctors thought it was extremely unlikely that she would get pregnant. Of course, she did, and I was born.
What I'm worried about is that I might have difficulty conceiving. My husband and I haven't tried to concieve yet, but we're thinking about it and since his sperm count has already been tested (passed with flying colors), only my fertility is left up in the air.
I might add that my mother was 40 when she concieved. My folks had been trying for 3 years to have a baby, but I don't know if this was a result of her age/high-stress job, or if she was just infertile.
I'm concerned as to whether it was her age or if I could inherit infertility.
I'd ask my doc this, but insurence and all....

I can't see her for a while.
advice would be well recieved along with tips for conception and avoiding miscarriage (something I'm really scared about happening).
Peace out!
