Each month I get sharp pains on one side of my abdomen that last for several seconds then disappear. I've always assumed it was the egg breaking free from the ovary during ovulation. The timing matches (day 15 or so) and the side alternates each month.

Am I right to assume I'm feeling ovulation? It's always so fun to tell my husband, "Hey, I just ovulated!"
