Default Sisters husband has low sperm count, anything that can help?

I have heard of a few old wives tales of things to do but maybe there are some I don't know about. She has been trying for over 2 yrs and she going to start the first step of the infertility process soon. It is expensive so anything that can help would be great.

Don't have sex or masturbate all the time it takes about five to seven days for his sperm to be at it's maximum. Protein helps a great deal too. Up protein and have sex about every week and a half or so.
