The best and cheapest thing to do is chart your cycles. Your body will tell you for free when you are ovulating and you be able to see your own cycle pattern.Take you temperature every morning when you wake up. It will rise when you ovulate (12-16 days before you period) and will stay higher until the end of your cycle. Once released you egg remains viable for fertilisation for just 12-24 hours. Also keep an eye on your mucus. It will become stretchy like egg white when as you approach ovulation. Sperm can survive for up to 5 days in this most fertile mucus. When trying to conceive it is recommended that you have intercourse every other day during the week before you ovulate and then for a day or two after. You can learn the basics of charting on-line with FertilityFriend.com. The Couple to Couple League also runs classes and has an excellent home study course if you are interested in learning more about your natural fertility signs and NFP.Good luck!

it took me a while to learn how to catch my LH surge using OPK's. For one I started testing later in the day.. between noon and 2pm. thats when i finally started catching my surge. its also not a bad idea to test later at night. i've caught the begining of my surge at 10pm. hold your pee for at least 4 hours and reduce fluid intake. do the OPK same time every day.

I myself have been using OPKs since May 16th and still no + either. I have a 37 day cycle and usually Ovulate on day 22 so yes there is still hope. You may want to begin charting your temperature next cycle to see when in fact you do. A good site for that is www.fertilityfriend.com. Sending baby dust...
