Default trying to conceive after getting off birth control....?

I'm going on birth control for a few months because I have a large cyst that my gyno recommended I take BC for just a few months and then go back to ttc. She told me your body, brain and hormones kick right back into your normal cycles after getting off BC...but I've heard from women who have been on BC, that that isn't always true. I'll be tracking my ovulation after getting off BC, but how easy or hard is it to get pregnant after use? As much as any other time? Or does it take a bit longer?

I was on birth control for over 10 years and got pregnant 2 weeks after my last bcp. This time around, I am having a hard time getting pregnant, and am contemplating going on birth control to assist in getting pregnant wehn I go off of it. Good luck to you!
