Default ovulation scope?

I have an ovulation scope and i have been using it and the pattern has been regular ferning, but today the pattern was still ferning but it was really large they just looked bigger than usual. The ferning pattern has been coming up since the 17th and it is already the 22nd that seems long to me.Has anyone else ever used the ovulation scope and experienced this , my last period was on may 17th and then on june 10th. I recently got my iud removed in april and really not sure how long my cycle is. Basically i just want to know if the ferning is supposed to be small all the time and why have they gotten so large all of a sudden.

The smaller ferns are transition ferns, the larger ones are actual ovulation ferns.

I use a fertility monitor and my cervical mucus to predict my fertile window and my waking temps to pinpoint when I actually ovulated.
I do have an ovulation microscope, but I have found that it is not very accurate. My husband spit on it just for fun, and even he had ferns...it can all depend on if you ate anything with a lot of sodium in it that day too.
I like using the scope as a secondary signal of fertility, but I wouldn't recommend using it as your primary ovulation predictor.

go get some ovulation predictor kits at the drug store, they are much more accurate.
have you read the book "taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler? I highly recommend it for anyone TTC.
