I liked my this one guy who sorta became my friend.
I told him I had feelings for him but he was just ridiculous. He was always flirting with me and the entire school population was convinced he liked me. One day after I flat out asked him, he was just like "I'm not all that attracted to you" And then I was confused? He talked to one of my friends about it and according to her he was on the verge of tears He would always tell me I was beautiful or very pretty....and that I "didn't get it" My friend thinks that he knew secretly he could never have me because I was "out of his league." I don't get it. But she told me if I had higher self esteem I would have better standards Apparently the entire school thought "why is that beautiful girl hanging out with him" I haven't talked to him since

Simply put, the guy has self-esteem issues... if you were to have a relationship with him, you are going to have a hard time dealing with him and his issues.

I think there is definitely something wrong with the guy. you have made your move and if he's not up to it then he's not worth your time.
