not strictly weddings i know but, a couple of friends keep saying to me that they reckon me and rob are going to get engaged at xmas. and doh..... i sort of started to believe them,i mean we went shopping for xmas pressies and when i bought my mum`s xmas present from a jewellers he was have a wander around and asked me wah tsort of jewellery i like (false hopes i know) and now i know he`s said to an old uni mate, that it`ll be house first, then marriage. ahh well another crappy xmas present for me then

no sign of him doing up his half finished one so he can sell it and put a good deposit down on one for us. been together for five years and need a bit of a sign of commitment or summat

Me and DP have been together 7 years already, it'll be 9 by the time we get married. We have got a house and a baby together though. Maybe your OH needs a bit of pressure on him to get his a'se into gear - are you living at home then ? As mentioned, no need to rush into things but I think after 5 years you maybe could do with having a think / talk on where it's going etc... Just my opinion though, it's entirely up to you... |

You never know he might suprise you. I agree with paula though, after 5 years and nothing, id start to ask where its going. Have you thought about proposing to him? lors x

It doesnt matter wether its 5/6/ or 10 years with no commitment some people live like that some take longer than others for commitments as long as you are happy thats the main thing - dont rush into anything
