oh paula, what a weekend i`ve had. went to look at one hotels gardens in daylight. (the place i like) rob thought they were ok. then went to look at another hotel and there is no way we can afford it, but he likes it. then he can`t see the problem of disabled access (we`ve 2 guests in wheelchairs) i`m not having guests of mine going outside if it`s raining just so they can get from room to room.

anyway another arguement last night and another massive cry from me.he can`t see just how much it`s going to cost. without going to the most expensive venue on the list.

had another row with mum this morning, who has this thing against getting married early. what is so wrong with trying to make MY day as long as possible. i`m getting to the point were i`ve decided to please me and rob and not try to please everyone else and if she mentions church again i will go abroad and get married on a beach. i am really beginning to resent her. i know i shouldn`t but who exactly is this day about.

anyway i`m whinging and i hate it. i hate the fact that we`ve not got anywhere booked yet. and i`m feeling really anxious about it. we`re not going to get the date we want if we don`t hurry.

decided that as it`s on a sunday (25/5/08) a bank holiday sunday so that people don`t have to go to work the day afterwards. that we1re going to get married at 12.00 as the venue calls last orders on a sunday at 10.30.

and yes my mum still thinks it`s early but i`ve worked all the timing out and it makes perfect sense to me.

called in the florist yesterday and got them to pencil me in.
going to do the same at the hairdressers when i go next week

same at the beautician

have left the cars to rob to sort.

well a very productive day i`m having just provisionally booked the registrar, i nearly had a heart attack when the girl told me they only start them from 1pm and i want 12. anyway i practically begged and i`ve got my 12.00

wow suzie, the hotel looks gorgeous. i like the way the reception is done up with all the co-ordinating chair covers. the grounds look nice too for your pics. great about it being bank hol, everyone can get lashed with no worries of work - heehee...

omg, are you excited ???? you'll be dress shopping soon, any styles in mind ? how many bridesmaids are you having ?

by the way, it's yours and robs day so you make sure you do everything the way you both want it, i know it sounds harsh but you've got to put yourselves first, even if you sometimes turn inot a bit of a bridezilla. luckily everyone has pretty much left us to our own devices but then we're paying for it all ourselves so no family members can really have a say ! hahaha...

i`m not really that excited at the mo, can`t wait for all the good things like choosing dresses and stuff.
i`ve not really got much in mind. i`ve seen a few things but i know that i`ll change my mind.

the prov booking from the registrar came today, that was quite exciting as that`s something on paper in front of me (sad i know)

we`re not having the chair covers on all the chairs just the top table ones as there`s not enough of the nice dark wood ones and they`re £4 each to hire so we`re giving them a miss.

what`s everyone`s opinions on shop bought pre-printed invitations. they`ll save so much money, but rob wants "proper ones"
