oh dear where do i start.
i`ve had another cry, another arguement. rob obviously thinks me and my family are made of money.went looking at another photographer last night

and yes he`s good but starting and 1,200 and going up to 2,200 quid. there`s no way we can realistically afford them and he can`t see that plus we don`t get the copyright, no extra prints no parents albums- just the preview dvd and the album. that`s it. total rip off

blimey sue, that's a hell of a lot of money to pay, but then it all depends on how important your photographs are to you. obviously they must be pretty important as you're going for the best.

i think when it comes to weddings it's where you draw the line, i can totally understand how people end up spending a fortune as things are expensive, it's all about shopping around.

you're gonna just have to sit down with rob and work out what your budget is and how you want to allocate it. :-(

tell me about it, my limit was a grand maybe a little over if they were fab but 2k is way too much.

i mean photos are really important but lets face it after 6 months you never really look at them, and the guy last night doesn`t even give you a print to frame; and that`s the one you look at the most isn`t it

i am totally at my wits end with it all and am close to saying, right ok you pay for it you choose it, but then he can pay for the parents album and the re prints we need

that's the good thing about our wedding, we're paying for it all ourselves so no-one other than us really has a say, and we're both in agreement that the cheapest possible way is best - lol !

Im going to stick my nose in now and say that Ive found the best money I parted with was for a a videographer. I found that photos are all well and good but they get stashed away getting dusty somewhere in the house.
I never had one fisrt time round when I got married and we never eally got our photos out, but this time round Its the one thing I really wanted and it was worth every penny.

We watch the dvd nearly every week and laugh at all the little and big things we missed on the day that a photo can never capture.

second. i don`t want a video, i personally think we`ll watch that less than look at the photos; any way i like photos always have.
