Default Anyone tried the Egg diet?

Beware, some people who try this don't get on at all with it. They feel ill. I tried, and cheated a bit but did lose about 6 lbs in a week I will have to try it again soon.
Quote:
WEIGHT LOSS - 1 STONE IN 1 WEEK

WednesdayBreakfast - Grapefruit and Boiled egg

Dinner - 2 Hard-boiled eggs, salad and grapefruit
FridayBreakfast - 1 slice dry toast and 2 poached eggs

Dinner - Fresh fish/tinned fish and salad
SaturdayBreakfast - 1 hard boiled egg and 1 glass of grapefruit juice
Lunch - Fresh fruit (any amount)
Dinner - Roast / Grilled chicken, cabbage, ca? and grapefruit juice
SundayBreakfast - 2 scrambled eggs, grilled/plain tomatoes
Lunch - 2 poached eggs and spinach
Dinner - 2 Hard-boiled eggs, salad and grapefruit

IMPORTANT
1. Do not eat anything not included here. Eat only what is shown or do without. Do not substitute anything. No eating between meals.
2. No alcoholic drinks, milk, butter, oils or fats.
3. Drinks allowed - black coffee, black tea, lemon tea, grapefruit juice, tonic water, soda water, tap water (any amount).
4. Salads include - lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and celery only.
5. This diet is chemical, not quantities, and is guaranteed to lose 1 stone in a week if followed to t he full.

At the end of the seventh day, if you have not cheated you will have lost 10lbs to 17lbs. If you have lost more than 17lbs stay off the diet for 2 days before resuming from day 1.

The seven-day eating plan can be used, as you like. If correctly followed it will clear you system of impurities and give you the feeling of wellbeing.
This is a fat burning diet and the secret is that you burn more calories than you take in.
This diet does not lend itself to drinking alcohol at any time because of the removal of fat build up in the body.
Go off the diet at least 24 hours before any alcohol intake.
Because everyone's system is different, this diet will effect everyone's system differently.
If you feel then need eat some bran and fibre.

DEFINATE NOT AT ALL'S
No bread, alcohol or carbonated drinks stick with water, unsweetened tea, black coffee, unsweetened fruit juice and skimmed milk. You may eat grilled or roasted chicken (no skin) instead of beef. If you prefer you can substitute fish for beef on one of the beef days. Any prescribed medication will not hurt you on this diet. Continue the plan as long as you wish.

Apparently - From the Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital used for the over weight heart patients who need to lose weight rapidly usually before surgery.
Obviously I will accept no responsibility for any problems if anyone tries this. :?
