Default Ebay Advise

Now I have been buying things from ebay for a while I am interested in selling stuff now but I am not sure how easy it is so I figured the best place to ask would be here I am pretty sure we have some ebay experts (Rae :-) ) I want to know when you enter your card details at the sell part does it take any money from you or do you only pay for what you list i mean do they charge you a one off fee for joining or anything.

Any help or advise would be really appreciated thanks in advance.

i don't think they charge you anything initially lynne, only the fees if your item sells. if the items don't sell you don't pay.

theres no charge to join lynne, you will be charged to list and then if you put a gallery photo on [thats the one that people see before they click on your item] you will be charged an amount once its sold and be billed once a month for everything youve listed and sold. When you start to list it all it adds up what its costing and you can see and keep an eye on costs. Remeber you wil be charge an amount for paypal too if you accept that so another small amount will be taken off when it goes in there. Its easiest to use turbo lister as you can take your time to write it out and then click to list them all at once.

there is no joining fee
your bank details are added on there as a safety net for ebay if you do not pay your listing fee's ... they will automatically take payment after a while

for each item you list you will get a listing fee
depending on how fancy you want your listing to be all depends on the cost
if you add a gallery pic (so it can be seen without selecting the item in previewing) that costs extra
if you add a listing background again that costs extra
if you add a reserve price to your items that costs extra
also the dearer your starting price the more it costs to list

for your 1st few sales keep it as simple as possible, dont add gallery or listing designs

hope selling goes well for you

it's so exciting when you get your 1st sale

Lynne i thought it looked difficult but it isnt once you get started and with turbo lister it saves the listing for you so you can take your time with your wording and that has free backgrounds as well to choose depedanding on what you are selling....... good luck with it and shout us again if you get stuck
