I would love to hear some feedback from those who have vaginally birthed a 9+ pound baby. My first baby was almost 9 lbs when he was born. Now that I am pregnant again it looks like this little guy or gal will be even a little bigger. That's a lot of baby to push out and that scares me a bit. Please tell me how it was for you.Should I opt for a C-section?

I had a 10.5 pound baby.
Fat is squishy. Babies can be average sized and have a giant head (that actually could be a problem), or they can be 10 pounds and have an average head. 10 pound babies are not heavy because they have enormous skeletons, they weigh more because they have more body fat. And fat is squishy. You won't have any more trouble with a 10 pound baby than with an 8lb 10oz baby. |
