I did but it could have been me nesting. Plus, the majority of the tags on the clothes tell you to wash them before using them. You can buy dreft at the local grocery store and wash them.

Personally, I washed everything first. I'm not quite sure why...lol...other than I just wanted them to smell fresh when the baby wore them the first time. Also, I never used that baby laundry soap. I always used the same laundry detergent that I used on the family's clothes and I never had a problem.

Yeah, you'll want to wash everything before your child wears it for the first time. Not all, but some companies use some pretty nasty chemicals during the packing and shipping process (including formaldehyde) that you'll want to remove before your child wears it.I washed all the baby's clothes in Dreft for as long as the biggest bottle lasted.

Yes, unless you want to do laundry after you come home from the hospital. I'm washing all my baby clothes in All Free & Clear--Dreft is expensive and unnecessary. Just make sure it's a dye and perfume free brand, and don't use fabric softeners, either. Good luck!

Yes I did. It gave me something to do but also its nice to have it ready when you get home from the hospital. Believe me you won't have time after the baby is born.

I washed all my daughter's clothes before birth... I hung all her clothes (onesies and all) I just want her room to look nice when she arrived. I think it is a good thing to wash them all because you never know if she or he decides to come early, you will be prepared. Well at the the clothes will be. Congrats and good luck!!**Wash with baby drift or baby all!!**

Yes you should. A baby's skin is very sensitive and new clothes have a treatment on them to keep them looking good so this needs to be washed off before they are worn to prevent any allergic reations.

Now that depends. With my first son I did. With my second son, I swore up and down that he was a girl, and only washed a few things, so I could exchange the blue for pink if I was right. Buy some dreft. They sell it at the grocery store or Walmart or Target, or Babies R Us. Good luck and Congrats!

I would just wash the clothes that you are gonna use right away. then wash the rest after the baby grows they grow quitefast, don't overwhelm yourself! As you wash them they will be nice and fresh, if you wash them if while the baby grows.
