sure pregnancy and childbirth is hard. very hard. but that pain is nothing compared to the joys that the children give back.

I have never heard that giving birth was a selfless act. However, I do believe that being a GOOD parent is a selfless act, in spite of all the joys you may receive from having children. It is a huge sacrifice filled with many pitfalls and disappointments as well wonder and joy. Such is the human condition.

Ummm, sex, and parenting, to some degree, are instinctual.you wouldn't be here otherwies.giving birth is simply the result of that instinct.being a good parent, on the other hand, is a hard mountain to climb. for a very long time.what's the saying? "children turn grownups into adults." (i think.)
