I planned a hospital birth and I guess something did go "wrong." Turns out my pelvis isn't fit for birthing and even though the labor went well, I progressed quickly and we both we handleing the pushing phase fine, he wouldn't decend past -1, so we went to the hospital. Even if I had labored in the hospital I wouldn't have gotten in to surgery faster, so I really can't agree with the thought that homebirth puts mom or baby at risk. (in a low risk pregnancy, that is)
