An epidural is probably the closest thing. You lose feeling from the waist down.

Get Doctor Feel-Good in there as soon as they allow an epidural! Up until that point, Demoral and Stadhol...or morphine...I'm personally allergic to morphine. But that's what I would suggest for the LEAST amount of pain. I would say 98% , possibly more, of women who go through childbirth experience some pain in one way or another.
