Default How bad does an epidural hurt?

Everyone had different opinions, i am just curious

It's nothing compared to contractions. It only hurts for a few seconds and after its over you are numb, you don't feel any more contractions and you can even go to sleep.

ive had two c-sections, so that means two epidurals. its actually not as bad as u expect,

It doesnt hurt as much as the contractions ...very true ...but only if they get the right point. however i feel that afterwards u do get a back pain cos of the same but that too fades away soon.... Am sure the docs are good enuff...so dnt b scared.... i think it ll relieve pain during the end and will make u feel better ...

It did not really hurt. It was more a very uncomfortable feeling in my case. But everyone has a different level for pain and what hurts one is more an inconvenience for somebody else.
