Default Is it safe to give natural birth to your baby, when u have HPV?

I read that, It's possible for you to pass the virus to your baby, but this doesn't happen very often.

As long as there are not open sores, I DON'T THINK so, but am not sure, as I have never dealt with this. Ask your doctor, he should know.

It is safe to give natural birth to your baby if you have HPV. The chance of it hurting the baby is like .01% and that only deals with the baby swallowing the amniotic fluid around it which is very unlikely as well. C-section is not recommended for HPV patients because the chance of it hurting the baby is so low. The only thing that can prevent natural birth would be warts or something covering the cervix all together.

Yes but only if your doctor is positive that there are no active warts in the birth canal. If there are, you have to have a C-section to protect your baby from the HPV.
