Listen, no matter what anyone says, you can be pregnant right now. My wife was on birth control 4 weeks after my daughter was born and my son was born 9 1/2 months later. So anything can happen. Best thing would be to get a test from a doctor.Good Luck.

The odds are very good that you could end up pregnant. The doc's tell you to wait for at least 6 weeks for a reason. Not only does it give you time to get started back on some form of birth control, but it also gives your body time to heal. While giving birth is a beautiful thing it is also a traumatic one for the body. I really don't understand why so many people want to rush it.

contrary to popular belief..just because you arent getting your period while youre breastfeeding DOES NOT mean that you have stopped ovulating. even if you are breastfeeding you still are the most fertile in your life after giving birth. definately go see your doctor!

Women become sexually active early in the postpartum period. Researchers have reported that 66% of postpartum women are sexually active in the first 4 weeks postpartum, and 88% become sexually active within the first 8 weeks postpartum....Although lactation can suppress fertility if a woman exclusively breastfeeds for 6 months postpartum, by that time, fewer than 14.3% of new infants are exclusively being breastfed.
