...is there anything else needed? I'm quite new to this because I've never dealt with a pregnant cat before. Please give me guidance and advice on what to do with the kittens and mother. It would be great if I can get some help about when to take them to see the vet both mother and kittens. And I haven't taken my pregnant cat to see the vet during her pregnancy, do I need to take her A.S.A.P.
And is there anything to prevent her from having more kitten within the next few months?

Firstly, I was in the same position four weeks ago and it's not as scary as it sounds. Make sure the kittens and mother have somewhere safe and warm to stay and sleep and mum will take care of toileting and feeding for them for the first few weeks and will then toilet train them and wean them at about four weeks old.

As far as de-fleaing goes, you can get frontline spray from the vets and you're able to use this on kittens and mum from 2 days old, it's the only one that is safe to use at that age and the vet will advise you accordingly. You don't need to take mum and kittens to the vets unless there seems to be a problem with them, like mum not eating or drinking or a kitten not feeding...mine had a sinus infection at 10 days old so they got whisked to the vets then. If you need more advice on them, phone your vets they will give you advise over the phone.

Keep the mum in for the next few months as she is able to get pregnant even though she's nursing, you'll be able to have her neutered once she's weaned the kittens and is no longer nursing.

Most of all, relax, mum will do most of it. Enjoy your kittens, but don't handle them because of the smell of you will put mum off..
