Default Tattoo?

Ok I was messing around with mates a few days back and my mate got some piercings done out of a dare, the fun and because he wanted another... We were talking about it on the train home and I said I would never get a piercing done but I might get a tattoo in the future... I wasn't really thinking about it at the time but now the idea has dawned on me and perhaps it would be something I can do.

So what are the health problems that come with them? I know there cant be that many considering the amount of people who get them done but I have heard that it went seriously wrong for people in the past...

I gave myself a tattoo, with chinese brush ink and some safety pins, thumb tacks and sewing pins and needles. It's really little, though, about dime-sized. It didn't hurt or bleed much. I took almost zero safety precautions, so I'm not recommending this to anyone, just mentioning that it's possible. Lots of people tried to tell me that I didn't, that I couldn't have, that it doesn't work just by rubbing ink into a needle prick. I would look at it and wonder what I was supposed to say to that.

All I know is that you can't donate blood for a whole year after you get a tattoo. Also, spend a decent amount on it. If you go for the cheap design, or the cheap artist, and you hate it? Well, it's stuck there forever, darling. Splurge on quality, you'll appreciate it later.

Good luck.

Should always put lotion on. Do not eat raw food I believe. I forgot which type of food you're not suppose to eat.

well if you made a tattoo in a professional salon you don't have to worry about, you may ask your doctor about this if you have some problems!

I agree with 3dfan! If you make a tatoo in a professional saloons you'll get no problem with your health in future. As for me, i'be done it 7 years ago and still have no complaints. Good luck!
