Aw Joanne I remember the days when my parents used to spent a fortune kitting me out in new school gear. We had to wear the most awful navy skirt and it was soooo long! I cant believe what the girls get away with these days. Makes me feel old

Right today I bought from Debenhams sale:
Double Quilt (reduced from £39 to £26)
Matching Pillow Slips reduced from £16 to £12.80 (so didnt want to buy these but they didnt come with the quilt so I had to get it!)
Double Fitted Sheet (Reduced from £18 to £9)
2 Clinique lipglosses

1 instyle magazine
1 wrestling magazine
Sandwich for my mum

well i only asked the boots perfumery lady about suggestions of what i could gett that were similar to my britney spears curious as it's almost done - i ended up with curious instead of fantasy as they made a muckup at boots but i ended up liking it so much it's almost done a 50ml bottle only bought in mid April!!!

anyway the perfumery lady let me sniff some and she said well if you really like this anna sui one you can get a set for £14 and the perfume on its own is £21 so you get it for minust £7 plus free minature bodylotion and showergel think aobut it like that so i kind of caved in as i knew i would use it eventually if not there and then. she was in a really funny mood the boots perfumery lady as she was going on her holidays but she can't have any free samples to dish out jsut now as i didn't get any but never mind she did let me hang about and sniff a few perfumes even though i didn't originally intend to buy anything today

the makeover thing also came by accident - i was killing time for the bus so wandered into Lush, again originally not intending to make a purchase. but i caved in and bought some solid shampoo to see if it will sort out my hair as the recent humidity has dried it out and made it frizzy. anyway whilst waiting for them to find the item i wanted *as their delivery had turned up late so there were boxes in front of what i wanted to get* the cashier said oh did you know we're having a B Never too Busy to be Beautiful party I said yes *as someone had put it on the Lush forum* and she said well you can have a makeover but you have to book it, i wasn't sure as i thought i might get caked in all sorts of weird and lurid colorus *they do a PINK mascara for example* but then again I thought well our local branch hasn't had a B Never visit yet and it may not do so again for quite some time *these B parties @ Lush shops are dependant on when the B makeup arists can do them you see* so i thought i better have one jsut in case i don't get the chance to again but someone on the Lush forum says that they ask you waht kind of look you want to achieve and they let you look at the sort of colours you would like or for example what would go with your complexion before they start on you so now I am quite relaxed and looking forward to it.

a lot of stuff was actually bought on impulse today but as most stuff was on a sale or on a promotional voucher it was OK in the end and the lottery money kind of balanced it all out in the end although ive been told not to fritter it away in reality, lol.

i think it's about time i concentrated on clothes shopping but everything i thought i saw i liekd today was either in the wrong colour or the wrong size which is almost ALWAYS the way with me and clothing sales, they drive me potty.
