i feel like i've spent a fortune today- over £15 at dentist, £19 driving lesson, brekkie (even though i'd had some at home before i left too!) and lunch at uni.

it's funny you should ask that Lors coz today i only had a check up at the dentist, but my teeth are really gappy. so i asked him today about getting them fixed- he said i'd have to wear a brace for about a year and a bridge put in the gap. i'd said i'd go away and think about it- in other words sound it out with people about the brace bit! my bf said he wouldn't be bothered. my mum suprisingly said that it was a good idea- i have my awful teeth from my mum, so didn't know how sh would react. so gonna phone the dentist tomorrow and ask him to refer me. so that'll cost me a bit!

i have to go private to have it done, so won't be subsidised i don't think. might look into during hospital fund, which would save a bit of money, but don't think they pay out for cosmetic treatments.
how did you get your gaps closed up Rae? when did you get it done? how much did it cost? how long did it take?
