i got a free sample @ lush today :grin:

i bought a lipbalm which are at the till in our branch, i noticed a basket beside the till, being a nosy old ses i asked what the basket was for well the SA said oh it's got a bubble bar sample in it, you can have one if you like - so of course i took one of them :smile:

gosh I wish the body shop would do free samples!! I deserve one for the amount of money I spend in there!

body shop do do free samples!! they have little pots and they will put a little bit of whatever cream or body butter or whatever that you want in!! they last for quite a while and are brill for putting handcream in your bag ;-)

carina, you should definitely ask @ tbs for a free sample!!! i would ask in the branch you spend the most amount @ as that will be the one you are most well known in so they might be mroe willing to give you a sample as they know you won't be taking the mick and will definitely boost their sales. lush tend to do smapels on an ad hoc basis i.e when they are dong a promotion or have bashed stuff they don't think is fit enough to sell etc. so it's not osmethign you are GUARANTEED to get when you go to lush but it is something they have done over the years a a little gesture and to help them avoid wastage as well so when one gets it it is really nice, i think that's only the 2nd time inverness lush has given me a free smaple outwith of *spend so much and get a goodybag* occassions.

i got a free sample of the body shop cassius rose when i bought my body butters in february but i thought id hate it so i put it in with a swap package for osmeone off the lush forum - then you 6eggers were raving about it so i had to go and sniff it the next time i was in and now i quite like it but ive not been in the body shop since the 10th of March!!!

well I dont go all the time,its like once every few months and then I spend like £100 stocking up!! TBS do have some good deals every now again. Dont know if they have any on at the moment. Anyone know? Im hoping to go next week. Sorry Smoky, I didnt mean to chat about TBS in the lush thread.
