Default fibreglass/ silk wrap kits

has anyone used these kits to fox breaks in their fingernails,they sound good but i`m not sure

you put a stip of the fibreglass or silk onto the break of a nail and then a drop of glue, buff it when it`s dry and it`s supposed to fix the break til it grows out.
