Hi Missysunshine

Im not too keen on the body shops range of makeup to be honest. I have a bronze eyeshadow from them and its very drying and the colour fades. I think I paid around £9 for it which is crazy as I could have got a MAC eyeshadow at that price! I think their makeup range is very expensive and doesnt deliver good results in my opinion.

I was thinking of getting some bronzer too but Im quite dark skinned so I have no idea if it would suit me. Just looking for something to give me that sun kissed look. Clinique have a range called true bronze which looks quite nice.

i haven't tried anything other than the all in one face base which isn't bad for everyday, quite good coverage and doesn't go shiny ( i have oily skin). not too sure on the bronzers though.

personally speaking, most bronzers i've had go on quite nice then look all shint and orangey after a few hours, bu then that might just be my type of skin.

carina - do mac have a website you can order directly from ?

i could do with visiting a counter first really to get the shades right but we don't have one here by me. i'd like to try some after all the reviews and raves about it on here.

i like pinks for blushers and lip glosses and i like my foundation to have yellowy tones rather than pinky tones if that makes sense ?

Hiya Paula ,

MAC are launching their online ordering system in the spring. I have bought a few eyeshadows from Ebay but you have to be so careful as there are quite a few fakes about. I dont have a counter near me so I have to wait until I get to Bluewater. MAC eyeshadows are superior to any other eyeshadow in my opinion!
