:smile: thought i'd get a response like that off you, apparently the ones getting a refit haven't had anything done to them for over a decdae so they need doing up first.
they've only got the money to do it because they sold off the company they had that made e45 and clearasil. hopefully you'll get to attack boots @ bluewater with all your ad card poitns tomorrow.

all it said on the teletext was smaller branches in suburbs and towens that haven't been done up for at least 10yrs owuld be done up first.
boots are going to build a brand new automated warehouse apparently but it means closing down others and making over 2,000 staff redundant, so it said on Radio Two earlier.

i don't know if this refurbishment malarky means getting posh ocunters or not, maybe it's jsut a general freshing up of the stores and probably more of the lines that boots exclusively sell or their ownbranded stuff the refurbishment has now been extended to 700 shops officially from the afotrementioned 500 that were mentioned in a teletext report yeah it is pretty bad, 17 regional warehouses will close and a new modern facility in their campus in nottingham will be built instead - i think this is more to do with the merger with alliance unichem more than anything else but im not sure if that's actually gone through all the regulatory hurdles or not, last time i heard it was still waiting clearance.
