dean gave me a tip he said wait till it gets to about 45 seconds to go, put ya bid in but dont press confrim straight away, count down to about 7 seconds or bit less then press confirm so it dont give anyone a chance to come back at ya, and it has worked everytime for me so far, although if you lose count it might be a prob, lol

yeah thats true.
saying that dean was bidding on a pushchair for me and it was up to like £70 and they are about £130 to buy new so he waited till the last few seconds and put in £200 as he knew it would never fetch that just to make sure he won, lol and we did

Try using Lotsnipe if you keep gettin outbid -

http://lotsnipe.auctionstealer.com/home.cfm

You make a free account where you have your own username and password and also give them your username and password for eBay.

After that you just take the item number of the thing that you're lookin at on ebay and do a search for it on Lotsnipe.
Once you've found it you put in your maximum bid and about 15 seconds before the auction ends it will place a bid for you providing it's not gone over your max bid.

I've found that you hardly ever lose an auction with it if you have a realistic max price and it's great because if the auction ends when you're not near a computer it doesn't matter because it does the bidding for you!
