found out today that it's NOT my advantage card that's up the creek but their online balance updating thingymajig. i asked a SA to check the recipts from last week to ensure all the points had actually gone on before i went and phoned them up to give boots a roasting about it :shock:

wouldn't be surprised if it gives up the ghost sooner or other though.

didn't have much time @ botos today due to faffing about in the caff @ m+s with a vanilla frappe which took half an horu to drink and i didn't manage to finish all of it DOH i knew i should have had a cola when i KNEW i had to get a bus @ 2.15pm but wasn't in the mood for it, i was having a right laugh at myself at how lame i was at drinking the frappe LOL.

am wondering whether it is worth my while going to the retail park with the better food or drink selection or not but we shall see.

tee hee, i was only joking about that last post but carina did suggest that i had INSPIRED this sticky thread so there you go.

claire - my branch won't accept a double points voucher on a triple points day, i think that's supposed to be the norm but some stores will accept them. i think in general the branch i can walk to is really stingy and sticks RIGIDLY to the rules regarding coupons whereas the retail park has a high turnover of staff as it's about 2m out of town so there's lots of juniors in it so i tend to get away with coupon malarky more easily there. also i am well known in the one i can walk to whereas im not very well known @ the retail park as it's difficult for me to get to so they can't try and wangle out of any coupon ridigly sticking to the rules just because it's ME when i go to the retail park.

can't go the retail park until next wednesday i've been told. mhupf as i want some of those snack a jack popcorn things NOW not next week!!!

mind you if i go on my own i can't have starbucks, if i go with my mum i can *as i find it difficult to carry a cup of coffee with my white cane* so it's all swings and roundabouts.
