Anyone tried cream blusher? Im tempted to get a MAC one but Ive never used a cream blusher before so I have no idea how to apply it. I have tons of powder ones so I thought as its warmer weather, a cream blusher would look fresher.

thanks for the advice Suzie . Might have to invest in a cream blush then. How long can you keep them for? I know they 'expire' quicker than powder blushers.

Carina - I'VE BEEN

The shop was AMAZING, (not a counter - a walk in shop  ) I was so impressed with the layout, look of the products, makeover area, the staff....everything.

I enquired about a foundation and the lovely assistant chose one for my skin then said, "here, would you like a sample", gave me a pot full and said "it'll last you about a week so see how you get on with it then come back if it's any good". Now that's good service to me, no hard sell at all.

Anyways, I've tried it today and my skin was lovely with it on, even Jeff commented (which he never usually does). I'm over the moon as you know what I'm like about my skin, it's my big hang up

I also got the details for a makeover, twenty five quid then they give you that back in vouchers

I'm so HAPPY  Thank you

Oh My God!!!! You have a shop!!! You lucky lucky girl .

So glad you had a good experience. The sales girls at the canterbury counter are very nice but the girls at the bluewater counter are such snobs and couldnt be less interested in you. I dont wear foundation but Ive heard good things about the studiofix products. Im sure you look totally gorgeous

Im going next week to my nearest counter and I cant wait. Im planning on getting a new blusher and eyeshadow.

There is alot of fake MAC on ebay Paula. You have to watch out for sellers who describe eyeshadows as 'sparkly brown' or 'shimmery green'. Each eyeshadow has a proper shade name and they do not have numbers on them so watch out for that too.

I saw that Fancy Ray blushcreme too! Its definitely authentic. Im not really good with cream blushers to be honest. I have a nars multiple stick and I have no idea how to use it! I cant blend properly!

Im in two minds about getting a MAC concealer. I dont wear foundation but I need something to cover up these dark circles!! I had a lancome concealer but its so drying and it doesnt properly match my skintone so Ive kind of been put off by concealers. Im worried the sales girl will give me the wrong shade! I dont have a MAC counter in Fokestone so it would be a right pain to have to exchange it. Mind you I've been looking at the select moisturecover concealer on the website and it seems just what Im looking for. I like the wand applicator as well.

So far I want:
Concealer
Bronzer
Woodwinked eyeshadow

God Im meant to be shopping for clothes not makeup

Am I turning you into a MAC addict Paula ?

ooh yeah forgot to mention that ebay have loads of lipsticks going for cheap. Its really the eyeshadows, powder blushers and brushes that you have to be watch out for!
