I know what you mean there  - when she was younger and around loads she sometimes got under my feet a bit but now she's only at home occassionally it's much more relaxed and our relationship is a lot better overall when she DOES eventually come up home - although she does leave a trail of destruction everywhere

mum said today that once the stuff they have to do at the beginning of july is finished she will take me down south for a trip round the shops YAY *although i think that's more to ensure that i don't go in a massive sulk this weekend about not being able to attend the Lush forum event in Edinburgh although the forecast for a picnic this weekend isn't great tbh*

anyway back on topic now

mum has just come home from Tesco's with a pile of knickers for me - tee hee. i've got a green pair, a stripey green pair, a pink pair and a grey pair sitting beside my PC as I type, as she can get them for me @ the massive one @ the retail park *sadly i couldn't go there with her today otherwise i'd be blitzing the boots sandwich chiller yet again...* as the branch of Tesco's that i can walk to, although it's a bit of a traipse as you have to walk all the way down the high street, past all the scaffolding for the work for the new Primark, round a corner, over a traffic light, over a bridge, over another crossing, dwon another street and over another crossing so nto very productive for taking loads of stuff home* doesn't do clothing.

think that is all about shops for now

going down south depends on whether or not my sister is coming up after what mum + dad have on at the beginning of july. we might be able to tie somethign in like we go down south and take her up or do if when she has to go back down south. it won't be a HUGE shopping trip, i'll be dragged into primark no doubt!!1 must not go into the HUGE boots in glasgow which has lots of ocunters in it, there's a massive one in a shopping centre that has a clarins counter yet i've never tried anythign from there for myself, i think the only clarins i've ever bought is like gifts from the relatives when the old House of Fraser's existed as they had SA's taht were like there for YEARS so you kind of got to know them quite well.

lord i need a haircut it hasn't been done for almot two months and it's awful. they made a hash of it the last time so im not going back and i don't know where else to go most are either in places i have no idea how to get to or are up back alleys or up horrible starircasings for example, yuk.

I had my hair cut yesterday and Im so pleased with it! Ive made another appt for august as my hairdresser is getting married mid august and she wont be back for two months! My hair grows extremely fast.

I think you will like Clarins. Its very good for sensitive skin and doesnt contain any fragarance.

there's no way i'll get to spend like £20 on some fancy face wash or cleanser with Mum in tow - she'll say oh you could have bought three tops out of primark for that or osmething similar as she doesn't see the point on spending loads of products, she's still a bit annoyed with me luring her into spending £21 @ no.7 on 2 items last week just to get the box of minatures when i was about so i could nab the points, ha ha ha.

goodness knows where ill get a haircut in inverness with a decent stylist for a decent price - knowing my luck once again i'll find one i like and the products they use will be unethical

i won't be shopping tomorrow but ill probably go in on friday, if only to console myself that i won't be at the lush forum picnic on saturday

thing with me is that since folkestone has no blimming clothes shops, I spend most of my cash on products!

You should get cosmo hair and beauty magazine as they list all the good salons in each area though of course I dont know if they use ethical products.

Do you get it washed and cut? I just get mine cut as I cant stand anyone washing my hair!

i do indeed get my hair washed @ the salon, that's the bit i like the best at the salon and i think well if i'm going to pay ££3 for the actual cut i might as well get it washed as well - i dunno what to do but that's 2 months tomorrow since the last haircut *that's right, it was the week before the last forum event* so it's goign to have to be done somewhere - unfortunately i can't read magazines so there's no point wasting money buying them unless they are for my sister, i can't believe that InStyle magazine is over £3!!! as i got it for my sister the other week, i try and get her a mag from time to time as all the ones she likes are £2 + so she can't really afford them.

yeah i know why you spend a fortune on products as it's easier for you to get ahold of those than compared to clothing, i just know that mum would go ape as she doesn't see the point of it. we do like paying £££ for fine fragrances but mum usually ends up getting most of hers as presents.

well last week i had £90 for clothes then i spent £42 in tesco's including a handbag, £6 on earrings and a necklace in dorothy perkins, then this week £8 on knickers with mum. So that was meant to leave me about £45 for clothes then mum did a car boot sale and as quite a lot of it was my stuff she gave me £50 but said i wasn't to fritter it away *i know what THAT means, no going mental in LUSH with it lol* so now i've got almost £100 in clothes but i have no idea what to buy with it as it's just all thin blouses or vest tops or sleeveless thigns and tbh in scotland we don't really get to wearthose items that much, the sales start soon up north but it will just be packed full with rubbish so i think we might HAVE to go down south even if the majority of the shops that have stuff that fits me are the same.

well apart from BHS that is, i don't know why invernesss never got a BHS there's bee one in perth for example for years *that's lie between inverness and glasgow, quite often we stop off there on the way down south* - so that owuld be 1 shop different to go to i suppose but none of the designer shops in glasgow on buchanan st. go up far enough which is SO annoying.

anyway i better stop slobbing about and do something productive otherwise there won't even be a botos fix for me tomorrow, lol

hardly any of the stuff goes up further than a size 18 in most of the concessions they have in debnehams which measn i can only get tops or blouses out of most of them which irritates me immensely. i find our debenhams very difficult to find thigns in as they tend to cram and swuish everything in together, mainly as it's only got one floor dedicated to all the women's wear and lingerie AND that floor has to accommodate a restauraunt as well although the coffee in there is dire - it just seems completely disorganised and i find it very hard to see the thigns i want in that particular shop.

mum doesn't care for it at all and hankers after house of fraser as it was always so nice and organised and you could find thigns easily in it, a lot of the staff were there so logn they got to know you so they oculd be really helpful but oh we just don't seem to like anything about debnenhams apart from some of the jewellery in wallis.

i was in Evans today as I got an email saying the Sale had started but their webiste is a mess IMHO so i went to see if they had any cheap necklaces or earrings but they were all horrible burnt orange and stuff like that, didn't have time to go into dorothy perkins as hd to then go for the bus but will have a nosy when i have more time on Wenesday, depending on whehter i have to deal with my relations in town or not that is.
