Default Curling tongs?

Can anyone recommened a good pair of curling tongs please? I really want to give my straight flat hair a bit of a change! I feel like a bit of loose curl/wave to it, not always but now and again to give a different look!

Any tips please?

Oh and has anyone used the rollers or heated rollers to give the hair a lift from the root? My hair always feels flat

i won some of those angel curls ones one swapits and they are not bad but my hair is very thick so its hard to do anything with it!! usually i just use the straighteners to give it loose curls, you kind of pull them fowards and turn them

See i have very fine hair too - its really getitng on my nerves lately. No life to it, just always flat!

Good idea - i,m gonna look in the sales for some i think.
I sometimes do that Rae - to give the ends a nice flick effect! It does look nice, i just need more of a curl to it for a change, dont know why i want this, just sick of seeing it flat i guess

What lift sprays do you all use if any?

i don't use any lift sprays karen but find it curls better if i rough dry it then spray hairspray all over then comb the hairspray out then curl.
