Hi Paula,
I had really bad problem a couple of years ago getting to sleep and then sleeping all night and tried all the above hints anf tips (I still use lavender bed spray even though I sleep fine now!) and in the end I went to the chemist and asked for something. I didnt want prescribed drugs or any type of sleeping tablet I was going to get addicted to. They suggested I tried sleepeaze, which I did. I think the body gets used to being awake at night and ends up thinking its normal and before you know it, its become regular. Anyway, I took 2 tablets a couple of hours b4 going to bed for about 5 nights then cut back to one tablet and within about 10 days I was getting to sleep fine and sleeping all night. I needed something to "break the habit" of being awake. Let me know how you get on and if you decide to give them a go (most major chemists sell them). Hope your swim tires you out too! Clare x |
