Default o.k., fitness trainers, i went to a fitness class yesterday,?

and the trainer said not to exercise more than 45 minutes---that after 45 min. you would burn muscle instead of fat---is this true? i walk for an hour a day---he said no???????

That does not sound correct. However, eventually he meant not to train specific muscle groups for more than 45 minutes. I could imagine that this make sense to provide a healhty exercise. In general it is recommended to workout somewhere between 30 and 60 minutes to see some good body fat burning results.
