lynne i was on the depo-provera (sp) injection, 3 monthly, was on it for about 6 years, not one bit of trouble and didnt come on either, but i know that doesnt happen for everyone, came off it to try for a baby and caught within a month so it worked quite well for me

the doctors/nurses do say give it a year to get things back to normal after your last jab but personally i know about 6 people that were on it and all caught pregnant within 3 months of their last injection, i think they say that to reassure people theres nothing wrong if they still aint pregnant after a few months

the pill is ok,but only for 12 months at a time,i have seen a few patients have problems with long term use.
coil can cause problems if you want to have kids later on. injection seems to be good. being a nun is not good for your physical health, but thats another story
