Nah it's a small rod the size of a match and it is placed under the skin of the upper arm

It's not that bad really I have it but just wonder if anyone else has it or tried it and if so how they are finding it

nope i have a mirena coil...wonderful thing havent had a period for 6 years but bloody hurts going in
