I don't think I'm fat, that's not the issue. I need to flatten my stomach is all. How can I do this? I need a routine also, but I want to start right away. Also... Can you tell me how much I need to do these things? Like, how many times, for how long, etc. Please and thanks! For me, summers still in a month or so. Two months really.

When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.Guide to Reducing Body Fat - http://www.straighthealth.com/pages/...cebodyfat.html

Summer is only a week away!
. Most people lose a few pounds during the summertime because they're more active and that's my advice to you. Try doing some crunches.Swimming is an excellent way to lose weight and a fun activity during the summertime. Try swimming laps for 30 minutes and then doing in pool crunches. |

Try pilates! There's many different options - books, dvds, etc. on how to do it. It strengthens your core. I started pilates over a year ago and I love how my stomach looks. I'm thin, but I always wanted that tone, sexy stomach... especially for when I'm on the beach. It's fun, too, and you can switch it up with different work outs. Results become noticable in 2-6 weeks.

Cardio! I have been doing about an hour of some sort of cardio activity (like fast walking, workout DVD's, or the elliptical machine) every day. I have done this (and watched what I ate) for almost a month and I have seen pretty good results. The key is to just stick with it and don't give yourself an unrealistic timeline. Everyone loses weight differently, so you may find that you might tone up faster or slower than someone else. Don't stress, just keep at it and give it time. Best of luck to you!! You can do it!
